Age 14. I bought my 1963 Fender Precision Bass at Harmony Music in Reseda, CA for $150. Bob Boyd, a schoolmate tipped me off to it. It had been sold to the store by the bassist in the band Southwind. Bob was the Elephant in the TV band "Banana Splits".
